"My Name is Tharoor and I am not an Idiot"

thought by nikhimenon@gmail.com.

After his 'thuqlaq'-ean remark on Nehru's foreign policy, our Mos for external affairs,Mr. Shashi Tharoor is back with yet another idiotic' statement urging Saudi Arabia to be the interlocutor in Indo-Pak ties.Tharoor saab, we understand that you are a busy man and you seldom get time to read the news papers, but please remind  your private secretary to inform you about the happenings in India atleast before you resort to make such stupid statements. We honestly think that it might help you in avoiding getting pained at 'such' inaccurate reportings later.

Tharoor can't be that stupid.

Being an interlocutor is not exactly mediation, right?

With enough haters in his own party, and the press all ears for any statement ambiguous enough to be sensationalised, Tharoor should have been more discreet. We all know how illogically his cattle-class-tweet became scandalous.

Happened to watch him in Karan Thapar's show. He was the only guest on show I've seen who matched Thapar in what was a battle of wits.
